HHS Fashion Design and Construction students worked with HES 1st graders to create each students' friendly monster. First graders read the book I Need My Monster and drew a picture of their very own monster to send to the sewing lab. Mrs. Huchteman's Fashion Design and Construction class practiced their hand sewing skills by bringing the monsters to life. Today was delivery day for Mrs. Seals' class! The remaining first grade classes will receive their monsters throughout the school year. Thank you first grade team for working with us on this project! We think the high school students were just as excited about the monsters as the first graders :)
