Lewis County C-1 has partnered with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to bring a special opportunity to all children (ages birth-5) residing in the Lewis County C-1 School District. The School District hopes to further Dolly Parton's vision to foster a love of reading among our school district's preschool children and their families by providing them with the gift of a specially selected book each month. By mailing these high quality, age-appropriate books directly to their homes, the program aims to get children to be excited about books and to feel the magic that books can create. This program is completely free to any child residing in the Lewis County C-1 School District, which ensures every child can have books, regardless of their family’s income.
Click on the Imagination Library Logo to register your child (ages birth-5) to receive FREE BOOKS from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and the Lewis County C-1 School District. The only requirement is that participants must reside in the Lewis County C-1 School District.

The Lewis County C-1 Board of Education has agreed to fund the first year of operation for this program; however, it is the intention of the district to seek sponsors to help support the continuation of the program. If you or someone you know may be interested in making a donation or agreeing to be a program sponsor, please have them contact Mr. French at 573-209-3217 to discuss the opportunity to help promote reading to Lewis County C-1 preschool children!
