Dear Cougar Parents and Community Members,
The Lewis County C-1 School District made Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP) revisions back in the 2023-2024 school year and again in the 2024-2025 school year when we added the Portrait of a Cougar durable skills (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Adaptability, and Responsibility) based on community beliefs. The CSIP is what guides the school district’s efforts for the next several years; therefore, we need the input of our district stakeholders. This includes not only the faculty, students and parents, but also the community members of the district. Our teachers and students will be completing a similar survey at school, but we need your help!
Please watch this brief (just over 3 minutes long) video: https://bit.ly/4s3ZNx6
This video will briefly describe the purpose, but more importantly show you how to complete the survey. It is recommended to complete the survey using a computer or tablet, but it can be done on a phone. The video will give advice on how to use your phone to complete the survey.
After watching the video, I ask that you take some time to complete the survey at the following link: https://forms.gle/TwN39xmoE2b1qqHZA
The feedback and answers you provide will be used by the district as we continue to monitor the district’s progress toward meeting the goals in our strategic plan, as well as provide an opportunity for the district to receive valuable feedback on the climate and culture of the district. I want to thank you in advance for your time and serious consideration as you complete the survey.
Sincerely,
John French
Superintendent
Lewis County C-1 School District
