It's state testing time! Students in grades 3-8 and high school students who are in LA 2, Algebra 1B, Biology, and Government will be taking a required state test. 7th grade Social Studies students created a Missouri Hall of Fame in the Junior High hallway. From Scott Joplin and William Hubble to Nelly and Brad Pitt, the Famous Missouri Museum has it all!






Join us at 7:30, May 12th, for a "Movie Under The Lights! " SING 2 will begin playing at dusk on the HHS football field. Bring your blankets (no chairs) and drinks (no alcohol). We are so excited for you to see our Schoolhouse Rock cast on stage this week! Today, we are celebrating the youngest members of our cast! It is a little intimidating for 7th and 8th graders to walk into a room full of high schoolers but these three blended into our cast seamlessly and are already showing leadership. We can't wait to see what they will do in the future!

Highland Elementary students competed in the Mizzou Engineering Robotics Challenge on 4/15. Ten of our teams received perfect scores on the course coding! So proud of our students!!




Due to several teams withdrawing Macon has cancelled the JH Track meet scheduled for today.

In the Kindergarten-2nd grade category, second grader Destiny Beaston won first place, second grader Anna Hoffman (not pictured) won 2nd place, and first grader Drew Wiskirchen won 3rd place!
In the 3rd-6th grade category, fifth grader Jane Miner won first place, fifth grader Avery Miller won 2nd place, and third grader Rylan Sharpe won 3rd place!
All contest entries looked amazing and will be hung at Lewis Street Playhouse next week to celebrate our spring musical!
