After 1 quarter at Highland the Cougars lead Palmyra 6-0 and are threatening to punch in another score!! GO COUGARS!!

LCC1 will conduct an Emergency electronic board meeting today at 3:00 P.M. This electronic meeting is being held with less than 24 hours’ notice, as permitted by Sections 610.020 (3) and (13) of the Missouri Revised Statutes, to consider and act upon an urgent personnel issue.


Fire safety at HES! Mrs. Scifres class learned some helpful information from our firefighters. It was awesome to see some former students presenting!





Thank you Lewis County Firefighters for teaching our third graders all about fire safety today!


Its Fire Safety day at HES! Students were able to visit several info stations where they heard about fire safety from our local fire departments. A special thanks goes out to all the volunteers who helped make this day possible. We appreciate you!

The cast of our high school play had the amazing opportunity to tour Quincy Community Theatre today and take part in a Shakespeare workshop led by Head of Education Brendan Shea! We learned so much about acting Shakespeare that will help us in rehearsals as we prepare for our December show! A HUGE thank you to QCT for their time and commitment to theatre education!

Soar students are finishing their catapults that will shoot a ball to knock down a tower of cups. This was difficult, but some teams did very well!

As stated on the agreement form if full payment is not received by Oct. 14th the insurance will be void and any repairs will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian. 1 - student $25, 2 - students $35, 3 students - $45 and 4 or more is a flat rate of $50.
