7th Grade Social Studies students study ancient trade routes by acting out a trade simulation during class today. This is part of a pilot program middle school students are trying out this week.

Exciting things happening at HES! Our first two robotics teams have completed their robot builds. They are moving onto programming.

Soar students continue on their "Snow Fun" challenge. Some of them are working on their plow, others have started on their list of recipes for fake snow.

All those Cougar fans planning to attend the Lady Cougar’s game tonight at the Palmyra Tournament should know they will be starting approximately 20-25 minutes early!!
Tues., 1/17/23 (3:30-5:30): There will be a meeting for any players interested in playing baseball this year. The first part of the meeting will be in Coach Arnsman's room. We will then head out to the football field. Please bring baseball gloves and warm clothes for outside.

4th graders participated in a simulation about the Columbian Exchange today. They learned how smallpox from Europe devastated the Native American population in the 1500's.




Elementary Student Council members worked on flyers and posters to promote our school store!
Students can support our HES Student Council by shopping the school store at breakfast and purchasing ice cream on Fridays for $1!




Soar students have started a new STEAM challenge this week, "Snow Fun." They have started on their snow plow.
