Mrs. Lyon’s third grade homeroom had their first perfect attendance day last week! We finally took a class photo!!


Upon a full police investigation, the recent "Inappropriate List" was found to be an old list from several years ago. There is no evidence of any immediate danger to anyone. The District's administration and local law enforcement are fully aware of the situation and all policies and safety procedures are being followed.

Lady Cougars beat Knox County tonight 11-4. Payton Miller got the win, striking out seven and going 2 for 3, with a double at the plate with 4 RBI. Haleigh Winter finished 2 for 4 with two homeruns and 3 RBI.

Congratulations to Isaac Roberts on his performance at the CCC conference Cross Country meet. Isaac finished 14th overall, which would have earned him All-Conference honors if the CCC recognized JH as part of the conference.

Bring your family to Autumn Harvest Farms (pumpkin patch in West Quincy) on Friday, October 15th for lots of family fun! A portion of the proceeds made from the Play Pen area will be donated to Highland Elementary PTO.
