Reminder: Jr Hi softball practice/tryouts start Monday 9-11. Bring equipment and water bottle. We will meet in the commons first. Practice Tues will start at 9, Wed and Thurs will start at 3:30. Going to be a great year!

JH Football Practice begins Mon. 8/16 from 2:00-5:30. We will be passing out equipment at the beginning of practice.
Players must have a current athletic physical and proof of insurance to begin practice.
Players must have 14 practices to participate in the first game so attendance is very important.
Parents/Guardians: For all students returning to school for In-Person learning, the district will need a signed copy of the UPDATED Parent Agreement for School Attendance and Use of School District Transportation: https://bit.ly/3CGgaq3.
Due to the continued pandemic, LCC1 will again be offering a District-Provided Virtual Learning Option for the Fall of 2021. This is a semester-long commitment-Please complete the Consent Form (https://bit.ly/3fIifrq). Deadline for signup & all schedule changes is Friday 8/27/21!
LCC1 will have a “COVID COMMITTEE” meeting on Tuesday evening at 7pm in the HS Commons following student registration. Parents/Students are welcome to attend and listen. The committee will discuss our current mitigation strategies, as well as relief funding.

Reminder that Highland HS Cross Country practices begin Monday (8/9) from 7am-8:30am (to beat the heat). JH practices begin Monday (8/16) from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Updated physicals should be provided to the HS office & 14 practices are required before the first competition.
The booster club will not be cleaning concession stands this evening, but they will be holding their monthly meeting at 5:30 PM in the HHS commons. All are welcome to attend.
The Highland Athletic Booster Club will be holding their first meeting of the 2021-22 school year on August 4 at 5:30pm at the football field. They will be discussing upcoming athletic events and coaches requests as well as cleaning the 2 concession stands to get ready for the fast approaching fall season. They could use all of the extra help they could get. Please plan to attend if possible.

Highland will start Junior High fall athletic activities on Monday August 16, 2021. Times are as follows:
JH Football 2pm - 5:30pm (this includes time for equipment check out)
JH Softball - 9am - 11am.
JH Cross Country - 3:30pm - 5:30pm
JH Cheerleading - 3:30pm - 4:30pm
All athletes must have a current physical and proof of insurance on file before being allowed to practice.
