Face masks are required for entering the facility and required in the bleachers and throughout the facility during the games when you cannot social distance.
The NFHS camera system in the HHS gymnasium should now be fixed and the scores should show on our broadcasts starting tomorrow night.
Tonight's Varsity Basketball games at Clopton WILL NOT be live streamed. Each participant will be allowed two guests. Each guest should present a green Varsity ticket previously provided to each Highland participant to gain entry into tonight's contests. Girls start at 5:30 boys will follow. GO COUGARS!!!
Tomorrow Tuesday 12/15 the Highland Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball teams will travel to Clopton to take on the Hawks in Varsity basketball action. Girls tip off at 5:30pm followed by the boys. Bus will leave at 2:50pm. GO COUGARS!!

Brown attendance day kids attend this week for finals on M/T.
Gold day attendance kids attend this week for finals on W/TH. The finals schedule will be M/W Odd hours take finals: 1,3,5,7 and T/TH even hours take finals: 2,4,6,8. Wednesday will be a full day and Friday will be a shortened day and students who have passing grades will not need to attend. This is to allow students to attend 2 consecutive days for finals. Students that have failing grades instead will attend the day of their finals and Friday. If your student is failing a class and was on the list to attend 5 days per week as identified after Thanksgiving, they will attend 3 days next week. If they are brown attendance day students they will attend M/T and F. If they are gold attendance day students they will attend W/TH and F. Please call the office if you have questions about any of the schedule changes above.

Highland boys defeat the Bowling Green Bobcats 56-49! Drew Mallett led the Cougars with 23 points and Alex Meyer had 22 points on the night as well. GO COUGARS!!
The Highland Lady Cougars defeat the Lady Bobcats of Bowling Green by a score of 48-32. Ansley Bringer led the Cougars with 20 points. Marissa Abell had 8 points. Great Win! GO COUGARS!!
Parents of High School Students that are enrolled in all virtual classes for first semester and finishing virtual classes this week.
This is a reminder that the semester ends next Friday, Dec. 18,2020. Students must have all work completed by that time to earn credit for the class. Additionally, students will not be allowed to enroll in the virtual learning option if they are not passing or have not completed all eight classes they are enrolled in. Please contact the high school office on Monday if you have any questions.

Updated Quarantine Protocols: LCC1 has adopted the shortened (now 10 days) quarantine timeline, with an ability to "test out" of quarantine after a minimum of 7 days in quarantine ONLY IF the person quarantined has no symptoms & gets a negative test on either day 5,6, or 7!

Reminder that Bus 9 (John O’Brien) will be run late today due to the bus driver shortage. Parents wishing to pick up their kids are welcome to do so.

Students in grades 7-12, who have been virtual for 1st semester and are wanting to return to in person learning 2nd semester, need to contact their school counselor to request a schedule for 2nd semester. We would like to have your schedule finalized before classes resume January 4.

There will be 2 photographers, so pictures should move quickly. Please have your student athlete at the high school, dressed and ready to go by their team's time. Pictures will be taken inside.
