The weather played havoc with homecoming all day but that didn't stop the Cougars. Since HES couldn't travel to HHS for the homecoming pep rally it traveled to us. Thanks to the HS administration, Marching Highlanders, Football team, & Cheerleaders for making it all possible.

Thanks to HHS counselors, Highland HS students were provided business cards with Suicide Awareness facts & the Suicide Prevention Hotline number. Students also received wristbands and participated in several activities designed to raise awareness on suicide and its prevention.

On Wednesday, Highland High School and Highland Elementary received active shooter training during the early release Professional Development time. Special thanks to Mr. Buening for getting and maintaining trainer certification for this course!
