The Highland Lady Cougar Softball team takes home the Cairo Softball Tournament Championship with an 11-1 victory over North Callaway!! Congratulations ladies!! GO COUGARS!!
JH softball is 1-1 at the Kirksville JH Tournament!! They will play for 3rd at 1:30!! GO COUGARS!!

Mrs. Shrader’s class got their first set of free books! Her family and friends have donated money to give each child a free book every month! This month’s donor was Larraleigh Hetzler. Thank you! We could not be more thankful and just look at those excited faces 😁❤️📚
It is time for our 2019 CANDY BAR FUNDRAISER!! Fundraiser forms have been sent home and are due back next Thursday, September 26th. We are excited to start the Kick-off on October 7th! We are ready to raise money for our school, and we hope you can help with this adventure.
It was great to see everyone at HES Family Fun Night! Kindergarten received information about curriculum, made playdough apples for our number trees, and read Fall books. Thanks for coming!

HES Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to thank the parents and teachers who attended our Welcome Back meeting on Tuesday 9/17. Many great ideas were shared!! Our next meeting is October 15th at 6:00 p.m. in the HES AV lab (next to the library). We hope to see you then. Kids are welcome!!
