
Highland schools will once again be closed tomorrow, Friday 2/14/20, due to road conditions and bitterly cold temperatures. Have a happy Valentine’s Day everyone and try to stay warm.

Quiz Bowl match scheduled for today has been cancelled!!

The Knox Co. JV Tournament games scheduled for tonight have been cancelled and rescheduled for Saturday 2/15. Boys play at 1:15pm and girls play at 2:30pm both in the Elementary gym. Bus will leave Highland at 11:45am

Highland schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday 2/13/20, due to the road conditions, continued snow, and cold temperatures in the morning.

In third grade today we became surgeons! We had fun reviewing our weather by cutting apart objects and stitching them back together! Our OR was very quiet while my surgeons operated on their patients!!!

Today we honor LCC1 board member Jamie Brennan. Jamie is serving his 10th year on the board. Thank you Jamie for your service and leadership to our school and community!

Fourth Grade classes have enjoyed their nutrition lessons with our @MUExtension Nutritionist

There will be no after school activities today at Highland High School or Highland Elementary. There will be no shuttle buses.

The Knox Co JV Tournament scheduled for tonight has been cancelled and games have been tentatively rescheduled for tomorrow 2/13 at the same times.

Highland Tournament make-up games scheduled for tonight are cancelled!! Due to the unavailability of teams next week these games will not be rescheduled!!

Our belated Jan. Principal Prize Patrol winner is 4th grade, Heath Feldkamp!
His daily efforts of giving his best & being responsible, respectful, & safe at HES make us proud! Mr. Post, Mr. Scifres, Mrs. Hinton, & Mrs. Stratton surprised Heath & fam with a tasty Johnnie's pizza.

SR High Quiz Bowl fought hard against South Shelby in their match this afternoon, losing by only one question. Congratulations to Addison Lay for correctly answering 8 of the 26 toss-up questions!!
