In the 9-0 Quarterfinal win over S. Harrison yesterday, Bailie Crist went 3-4 with 3 doubles and 3 RBI's, breaking the Highland record for RBI's in a season. Bailie's 47 RBI's surpasses the previous record of 44, that was set by Highland great Emma Harshberger in 2023.

It's official, the Lady Cougars will play Linn in the state softball semifinals at noon on Nov 1 at the Killian Softball Complex in Springfield MO!! GO COUGARS!!

With a 9–0 win over South Harrison today the HHS Lady Cougar softball team punched their ticket to the class 2 state tournament in Springfield! Congratulations ladies on a fantastic quarterfinal win!! More info will be released about state in the coming days!! GO COUGARS!!


Highland comes away from the MS Cross Country Championships with an All-State medalist (Connor Zulauf-17th). Logan Frieden missed All-State honors by 4 HUNDREDTHS OF A SECOND, and Evan Frieden finished in 31st. All 3 ran phenomenal races - PR for each of them!!

That's a wrap! FFA members had a great experience at the 97th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. We toured the Danforth Plant Sciences Center & Louisville Slugger Bat Factory. Attended sessions led by national officers, participated in the Career Shop & Expo and heard from Dr. Temple Grandin.






Seventh-grade students enjoyed a day in Lincoln's Springfield! They were able to visit his tomb, his home and historic neighborhood, and the beautiful Lincoln Museum.
