Parents/Guardians: Q2 & Semester 1 grades are available on your parent portal at this time. We have had some issues with the new system regrading Semester grade imports, so it is possible that changes may still be made to some of these grades. Reminder: to view report card grades on the TeacherEase app go to: “more”>”report cards”>”report card”. Grades can also be found under your student's report card tile via TeacherEase online. If you need help signing up for a parent account please call the high school office.

The Highland Boys and Girls Wrestling had a great night at Macon! Peyton Wright went 2-0 with 2 pins, Alicia Eaton won by pin, Raygan Mayes won by Tech Fall. Aaron Fulton won by pin, Maddox Wade won by pin! All of the kids wrestled very very well tonight! It was a great night to be a Cougar!

Right before Christmas break Mrs. Johnson's First Grade Class received stuffies from the Fundamentals of Fashion and Interior Design Class at HHS. First grade students chose the design and colors for their stuffies and the high school class sewed them and brought them to life! Thank you Mrs. Ann Murphy and students for continuing this tradition, first grade loved them! 🤎💛🤍

These two lovely 2nd graders won a student-designed sweatshirt from the Highland Hot Spot in a pre-Christmas PBS prize drawing! We are so lucky to have the Hot Spot and access to some of the best graphic designers we know!

Gilder Lehrman Institute offers free online history courses for high school students. These are NOT credit bearing courses. They are great, self-paced courses for students who have an interest in history. Information is available at https://www.gilderlehrman.org/history-u.

Students have been learning about life long ago in Mrs. Seals' 1st grade class. Today they read directions on how to make ink from blackberries and used feather quills to practice their writing. They were all in agreement that pencils and pens are much easier to use!

Reminder: TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY to elect for the Virtual Option for 2nd semester.
