Highland FBLA attended the State Leadership Conference in Springfield April 13-15. Members attended workshops, leadership activities and social events. Several members received Community Service Award pins including Cali Berhorst, Ellie Goehl, Alainah Hoffman, Manda Jennings and Kennedy Post. Advancing to Nationals in June are Kennedy Post 4th in Computer Applications and Ellie Goehl for the Capstone Business Achievement Award.




The LCC1 Board of Education will be conducting an emergency board meeting at 12pm today (4/15/25) to deal with urgent personnel issues. This meeting will be held virtually at: https://meet.google.com/yfm-kamg-fzv?authuser=0

Highland JR High Spring Dance will be held May 3rd from 6-9PM. This year it will be held at the Elementary School. Doors will open at 5:30 to allow pictures to be taken with friends. Tickets will be sold the week prior for $5 each. Questions- contact Nichole Wiskirchen

Congratulations to Michael Durst! He is our April Highland Elementary Kindergarten Student of the Month! Michael’s teacher says that he gives his best at HES! He is a good friend to others and is respectful to his teachers. He also works hard and is always willing to help! Michael is a great role model for other students at HES!
