Today the Kindergartners are receiving a HES Promise shirt from our parent teacher organization(PTO)! We aim to wear these shirts on the first day of every month to recognize the promise we make every day to be respectful, responsible, and safe! Thank you PTO!

Jr. High Lady Cougars chalk up 4 wins in the last 2 nights! Gold beats Canton 10-2 & Holy Rosary 13-6. Brown beats Canton 5-3 & Holy Rosary 6-5.
Lady Cougar golfers, the only Class 1 school, tied for 5th place out 18 Schools.
Out of 90 girls, Morgan Crist shot 93 and placed 14th.

Congratulations to Highland Sophomore, Keera Rothweiler, for surpassing the Highland career stolen base record last night in a win over Canton. Keera swiped stolen bases #51 & #52 in a 13 run 5th inning. The previous record was 51 held by Taylor Hamilton in 2014.

Mrs. Schultz's kindergarten had fun in Science learning about the apple lifecycle, John Chapman aka Johnny Appleseed, taste testing apple varieties and graphing their favorite apple. 🍎
Mrs. Schultz's kindergarten enjoyed making pan hats like Johnny Appleseed wore on his head while learning about the Apple life cycle in Science. 🍎
Mrs. Schultz's kindergarten ended their Apple investigation by making their own Apple dessert. They were delicious! Nutella on apples for the win.
