The last PBS big ticket event was a great success! Ninety students enjoyed ice cream sundaes to celebrate the end of the school year.

Mrs. Johnston's class celebrated our cadet teacher, Miss Andria ❤️. So bitter sweet, she was in my first grade class and then ended up helping in it her senior year. Best wishes to Andria with all of her future endeavors!

4th Grade cooled off today with a game of Drip Drip Splash!





Mrs. Abell's 6th Grade ELA classes completed their Greek Mythology unit with their Greek Creatures essays and drawings.







Mrs. Scifres class has been putting the finishing touches on their Greek creatures.




Yesterday 1st grade did some shaving cream writing and it doubled well in cleaning our desks off!

Soar is wrapping up for the year. Jr. High celebrated nine students who are graduating from Soar this year! Best wishes as they head to high school.

Brief informational notes are coming home with kindergarten through sixth grade students who are enrolled in summer school on Monday, 5/22. Notes will be sent home with junior high students on Tuesday, 5/23. Jumpstart notes will be sent in the mail.

Want free meals for your children this summer? Highland Elementary provides free meals during summer school (6/1 - 6/30) for all school-aged children and younger through the Summer Food Service Program! Children do not have to attend summer school to receive free meals!

We had a fabulous day celebrating awesome behavior with a movie at Lewis Street Playhouse! A big thank you to these students for giving their best at HES all year long by being responsible, respectful, and safe! A big Cougar thank you as well to Lewis Street Playhouse for hosting us!

Congratulations to the Highland Track teams on a very successful season that culminated at the State Meet in Jefferson City over the last 2 days.
