Game 1 of the 50th Annual Highland Varsity Basketball sees the Lady Tigers from Macon defeat the Knox Co Lady Eagles 65-30. Next up Canton Lady Tigers vs. Scotland Co.
The JV Basketball teams will travel to Kirksville to take on the Tigers in JV basketball action tonight. Girls at 6pm boys to follow. GO Cougars!!!!
The Highland Tournament will be played tonight starting at 4:30pm. First round girls action as follows: 4:30 - Macon vs. Knox Co, 6:00pm - Scotland Co vs. Canton, 7:30pm - Palmyra vs. Clark Co and 9:00pm - Kirksville vs. Highland.
LCC1 schools will be closed Tuesday, 1/4/22, due to the current road conditions in throughout the county. We fully expect school will be in session on Wednesday with the warmer temperatures and sunshine tomorrow.

The 50th Annual Highland Basketball Tournament has been postponed due to road conditions in Lewis County. Current game plan is that games scheduled for tonight will be played tomorrow night, with all dates moved back 1 night & Championship games taking place on Saturday 1/15/22.
Highland Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 3rd due to the current road conditions in the county. The Highland Tournament may also get postponed, but that decision will be made tomorrow afternoon.
