There has been a mistake in the district calendar regarding the 7-12 Winter Concert for choir and band happening this evening, December 13th. The Choir portion of the concert will begin at 6:00pm. Choir students will need to be in the choir room by 5:30pm. The Band concert will begin at 7pm starting their portion of the concert with our Colorguard performing their winter routine. Band students need to be in the band room by 6:15pm. Sorry for any misunderstandings. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. or Mrs. Sparks
JH Girls basketball team traveled to Western Illinois University on Sunday to watch 2019 Highland Graduate Kennedy Flanagan. It was fun to watch Kennedy in action and see her team defeat SIU-E.

Bus 10 is usually ran by Les Edmonston. It will be delayed this afternoon and run by another drive as a secondary route.
Parents - due to a shortage of drivers Bus 10 bus riders will need to be held at the school until another route driver can get back from their route to make. 2nd run to take them home. Students may be picked up at school or ride the bus, but it will be about an hour late.
Schedule for Monday 12/12/22. 5pm JV boys basketball vs. Scotland Co. 6pm Varsity girls basketball vs. Scotland Co and 7:30pm Varsity boys basketball vs. Scotland Co. Good luck to all the Cougar teams playing tonight!! GO COUGARS!!

Reminder: Please try to submit Virtual Option Enrollment Surveys and Forms by Thursday, 12/15/22 so that schedules can be built and ready for 2nd semester. The final deadline to elect for the Virtual Option for 2nd semester ENDS ON FRIDAY 1/6/23. This option is available for students who have demonstrated success (completed & passed all coursework) during first semester while in Virtual or for students who were “in person” learning during first semester, but now wish to switch to virtual. In order to make this designation, Parents must complete the SURVEY (https://bit.ly/3VM31Vq Link to Survey) and submit a signed CONSENT FORM (https://bit.ly/3VM73wQ Link to consent form) by Friday, January 6th, 2023. **Also remember: electing to be Virtual or In-Person is a semester long commitment. The JH and HS cheerleading squad hosted a kids cheer camp today! The kids had so much learning a dance, cheer, and stunts! The kids will be performing at half time of the girls game on Monday, December 12th. Reminder: All performers need to arrive at the high school at 5:30pm and wear camp T-shirts. T-Shirts will be left with teachers for those who paid but did not attend today’s camp. Go Cougars!!
