SCHEDULE CHANGE: Due to low numbers there will be no JV Girls Basketball games played this season. The following schedule changes have also been made in regards to JV Boys Basketball. November 18 vs. Kirksville postponed to Dec 19 and location moved to Kirksville 6pm start. November 29 vs. Louisiana will be played at 5pm at Louisiana prior to the varsity girls and boys contest. Any further schedule changes will be relayed as they occur.

We are so excited to celebrate the debut performances of 3rd grader Chamar in the role of President Roosevelt and 4th grader Clara in the role of his personal assistant in our production of Annie! Soar students continue to work on their house of cards. Their houses will be tested with wind and can earn bonus points based on certain architectural features such as stairs, a balcony, etc.

Over 50 people showed up at the Lewis County Courthouse today to honor our veterans. Thank you to the American Legion, guest speaker Bill Smith, Highland Show Choir, Highland History Club, and most importantly…our veterans!




Reminder: HES StuCo is sponsoring a Fall Food Drive this week (Nov. 14th-18th). Donated items will be delivered to the local food pantry and on-site food pantry. Top class from K-2 and 3-6 will enjoy a pizza party during lunch. Thank you for supporting our local community.
