Eighth Grade students competed at National History Day at MU. These nine students were representing all of the Northeast Missouri region at the state contest, and they did it well! From thesis writing and research, to interviews and judging, they have made us very proud!

While attending the FBLA State Leadership Conference, Katy Moyers was recognized on stage for achieving the Advocate level of the Business Achievement Awards and for Outstanding Service in her local chapter.

Today, on this OPENING NIGHT Friday, HHS Drama Club is celebrating senior Faith Post! Faith has been an active member of Drama Club since she was in elementary school. Faith's dependable leadership and willingness to always give her best to her directors and cast mates has made her an extremely important part of our group. She takes her roles very seriously and always gives 100% on stage. Watching her talent grow over the years has been so rewarding. We will miss her so much on our stage next year but we're so excited to watch what she'll do next! We are so proud of her!
Help us congratulate Faith on her tenth and final Drama Club production this weekend!

A very big thank you goes out to Nice 'N Chill Grill and their anonymous donor for providing lunch today for the entire HES staff. It was delicious and very much appreciated. The Philly Cheesesteak Quesadilla was delightful!

Today HHS Drama Club is celebrating the first of our two seniors, Gretchen Toliver! Gretchen came to us at the end of her sophomore year and we are so lucky she did! Watching Gretchen learn to lead and become more confident on and off stage has been such an amazing process! However, what we love the most about Gretchen is her patience and kindness. We are going to miss her so much next year but we are so excited to watch what she will do!
Help us celebrate Gretchen as she steps on our stage for the very last time this weekend!
