This option is available for students who have demonstrated success (completed & passed all coursework) during first semester while in Virtual or for students who were “in person” learning during first semester, but now wish to switch to virtual. Highland had a staff member test positive for COVID today; however, we don’t believe anyone was exposed for 15 minutes or more within 6 feet. Lots of influenza A, strep, RSV, and stomach flu circulating. Please monitor for signs and symptoms and keep sick ones home.
Student Council members had a great time making pizzas and playing games for their Christmas party!

Due to a schedule conflict at Knox Co. the JV boys basketball game scheduled for Thurs 12/15 has been temporarily postponed. A reschedule date is pending. The JV boys will travel to Monroe City tomorrow and play a full game followed by two extra quarters. Go cougars!

There has been a mistake in the district calendar regarding the 7-12 Winter Concert for choir and band happening this evening, December 13th. The Choir portion of the concert will begin at 6:00pm. Choir students will need to be in the choir room by 5:30pm. The Band concert will begin at 7pm starting their portion of the concert with our Colorguard performing their winter routine. JH Girls basketball team traveled to Western Illinois University on Sunday to watch 2019 Highland Graduate Kennedy Flanagan. It was fun to watch Kennedy in action and see her team defeat SIU-E.
