
HES had another COVID positive student identified - 1st grader from Cunningham’s class, possible exposure dates 6/19-6/21 & was on Bus 5 through 6/21 am route on those dates. Please monitor closely for symptoms and keep sick ones home.

Highland High School Youth Softball Camp will be Monday, 7/18 thru Wednesday, 7/20, from 6PM - 8PM. Please see the attached camp form. Forms need to be turned in by July 1st.


LCC1 had 4 staff members test positive for COVID at the end of the week last week, plus a student from Mrs. Bainter's grade 2/3 summer school class with symptoms starting on 6/15, student does not ride a bus & was not present after 6/15. Please keep an eye out for S/S of COVID.

Highland High School alumnus Collin Felter has released a new album for the world to enjoy! Collin is currently pursuing his PhD in Music Theory at University of California Irvine. This is his second solo album. Watching our Cougars go out into the world and make it more beautiful is always something to be proud of!

We practiced making bar graphs today. Our data was based on the color of tshirt that each student had! I think they did a great job!




Students at HES had a mad scientist assembly for the first day of summer school. Thanks to the NE Library Services for sponsoring the assembly.

Dress/Attire
· Seniors must be dressed in business/casual wear graduation and Senior Tea/Awards . Caps and Gowns will be worn to both Senior Tea Awards night and Graduation.
· Male and female graduates must wear dress slacks (or dresses for females) and dress shoes. NO Jeans and NO Shorts. Students will not be permitted to take part in the ceremony if not dressed appropriately. NO tennis shoes or sandals/flip flops.
· Graduates may not pin anything or write anything on your caps and gowns. without prior approval. Only school issued honor cords and stoles will be permitted.
· If a graduate chooses to dress inappropriately, then he/she will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony. Follow the guidelines! IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE REQUIRED DRESS ATTIRE PLEASE LET MRS. MURPHY OR DR. ROSSMILLER KNOW PRIOR. WE WILL ASSIST YOU IN FINDING/ACQUIRING THE REQUIRED ATTIRE.
