Highland High School alumnus Collin Felter has released a new album for the world to enjoy! Collin is currently pursuing his PhD in Music Theory at University of California Irvine. This is his second solo album. Watching our Cougars go out into the world and make it more beautiful is always something to be proud of!

We practiced making bar graphs today. Our data was based on the color of tshirt that each student had! I think they did a great job!




Students at HES had a mad scientist assembly for the first day of summer school. Thanks to the NE Library Services for sponsoring the assembly.





Highland Elementary has been recognized as a gold level PBS school at this year’s PBS Summer Institute! This means our entire staff works hard to consistently and intentionally offer our students multiple levels of positive behavior support!

Reminders:
Dress/Attire
· Seniors must be dressed in business/casual wear graduation and Senior Tea/Awards . Caps and Gowns will be worn to both Senior Tea Awards night and Graduation.
· Male and female graduates must wear dress slacks (or dresses for females) and dress shoes. NO Jeans and NO Shorts. Students will not be permitted to take part in the ceremony if not dressed appropriately. NO tennis shoes or sandals/flip flops.
· Graduates may not pin anything or write anything on your caps and gowns. without prior approval. Only school issued honor cords and stoles will be permitted.
· If a graduate chooses to dress inappropriately, then he/she will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony. Follow the guidelines! IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE REQUIRED DRESS ATTIRE PLEASE LET MRS. MURPHY OR DR. ROSSMILLER KNOW PRIOR. WE WILL ASSIST YOU IN FINDING/ACQUIRING THE REQUIRED ATTIRE.

Thursday, May 26th @ HS Commons 6:30. Seniors are dressed wearing cap and gown during the ceremony.
Graduation- Friday, May 27, 2022 @ 7:00 p.m.
Graduates must be ready to line up at 6:00 p.m. Seniors will meet in the PWML to line up. Be dressed and ready to go.
Rehearsal is REQUIRED on FRIDAY MORNING Seniors should wear regular school attire. Candidates for graduation should meet in the High School Commons on Friday, May 27, by 10:15 a.m. and remain until the end of practice. Be prepared to stay for the entire practice. To participate in the graduation ceremony, each candidate must be present for practice. All Graduates must attend the rehearsal to be eligible to walk across the stage.
