The final deadline to elect for the Virtual Option for 2nd semester ENDS ON FRIDAY 1/6/23. This option is available for students who have demonstrated success (completed & passed all coursework) during first semester while in Virtual or for students who were “in person” learning during first semester, but now wish to switch to virtual. Highland had a staff member test positive for COVID today; however, we don’t believe anyone was exposed for 15 minutes or more within 6 feet. Lots of influenza A, strep, RSV, and stomach flu circulating. Please monitor for signs and symptoms and keep sick ones home.
Student Council members had a great time making pizzas and playing games for their Christmas party!

Due to a schedule conflict at Knox Co. the JV boys basketball game scheduled for Thurs 12/15 has been temporarily postponed. A reschedule date is pending. The JV boys will travel to Monroe City tomorrow and play a full game followed by two extra quarters. Go cougars!

There has been a mistake in the district calendar regarding the 7-12 Winter Concert for choir and band happening this evening, December 13th. The Choir portion of the concert will begin at 6:00pm. Choir students will need to be in the choir room by 5:30pm. The Band concert will begin at 7pm starting their portion of the concert with our Colorguard performing their winter routine.
