We are gearing up for another AMAZING year of Highland drama and August calendars are filling up fast! If you (or someone you know) is interested in finding out what Drama Club is all about, our kickoff will be on THURSDAY, AUGUST 25th!
Our elementary musical will be open to 3rd-8th grade and their kickoff session will be from 3:30-4:30 with a quick parent/guardian informational meeting to follow. Paperwork and more information will be available in the HES front lobby during Meet The Teacher!
High school will follow from 6:00-7:00!

Highland High School softball practice will run from 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM daily, and begin on Monday, 8/8/22. All players must have a current physical and proof of insurance on file. Contact Coach Scifres with any questions.
To clarify HS Cheerleading will start practice August 8 and 9 from 3:30-5:30 at the high school. Due to a coaching change the schedule given out for the fall will likely be altered and will be provided during the first 2 days of practice. Sorry for any confusion.
High School Cheerleading tryouts will be held August 8 and 9, 2022 from 3:30-5:30pm at HHS. Anyone interested in HS cheerleading must attend tryouts and have a current physical. Questions may be directed to Coach Kramer at lkramer@lewis.k12.mo.us or Coach Davis at 660-216-3658.

QMG will be offering free sports physicals today from 5:30 - 8;30pm. Appointments are required 217-222-6550 ext 3282. These will be done at their Hampshire Street Clinic in Quincy. Physicals ARE MANDATORY for any student 7-12 grade participating in athletics or marching band.
The LCC1 Board of Education will conduct their regular monthly meeting meeting tomorrow night (7/20/22) at 5:30pm, with open session to begin at 5:45pm. The full agenda can be viewed here: https://bit.ly/3RK9G0K
Students in grades 9-12: You cannot change course request on your student portal. Those changes will not show on your schedule. Please email Mrs. Adam any changes you might like to make to your classes for this year.
Mrs. Adam sent out an email to all 10th and 11th graders about a new aviation class taught by Mrs. Parrish. Please read your email and respond to the email by Tuesday, July 19 if you would like to take this class.
Please have 9-12 students check emails! Mrs. Adam sent out a new email about Advanced Placement classes to juniors and seniors. She also sent out a reminder about the new Aviation class for seniors. Individual messages are being sent about scheduling as well. The master schedule is close to being finalized.
