Some of Highland Elementary students used their Cougar Cash to stay after school for a PBS Stem Night. Fun was had by all as they used their creativity and imagination to complete several stem activities.

Mrs. Geisendorfer’s class brought in the most donations for the fall food drive at H.E.S. in grades 3-6. They enjoyed a pizza party as a reward for their generosity thanks to the Student Council.
Saturday detention for tomorrow, Dec. 3, has been cancelled. All students with detention scheduled for tomorrow were notified today of their new scheduled date.

This morning members of the Lewis Co Sheriff's Office and the Marion Co Sheriff's Office conducted a scheduled K-9 search at Highland High School. I am happy to report that no illegal substances were located inside the building. Thank you to both agencies for helping to keep our students and staff safe.
Soar students are finishing and scoring their houses of cards this week. They will earn points for a wind test and certain features. They have come up with some interesting features like a jacuzzi, snack bar, and Christmas tree to name a few.
