
The Lewis County Food Pantry has postponed food distribution scheduled for tomorrow in Canton. It is currently rescheduled for Friday 2/4/22.

Highland Schools will be closed for a conventional Snow Day tomorrow, Wednesday 2/2/22. Try to stay off the roads if possible! If you must travel be sure to take essential safety items, medications, etc. with you. If you do get stranded, it could be for an extended time period!



The Varsity Basketball games scheduled for today at Highland vs. Keokuk have been moved to a 5pm tip off. Girls at 5pm with boys to follow in an effort to avoid potential bad weather. GO COUGARS!!

We are so excited to announce the cast of Highland Elementary's very FIRST musical--The Rainbow Fish! This classic under sea musical adventure based on the book by Marcus Pfister will be performed in March.
These talented actors range from first to sixth grade. There are several missing from the picture but we can't wait to be rehearsing all together soon!

There has been an addition made to the JV basketball schedule. On Feb 2 , 2022 Highland will travel to Clark Co for a JV girls and boys contest. Girls at 6pm boys to follow. GO COUGARS!!

HES learned of 2 new Kindergarten students (1 in Schultz & 1 in Shrader) who tested positive with 1/24 as the only possible exposure date. Only 1 rode a bus (#8) and only during AM route on 1/24. Please monitor daily for symptoms & keep/stay home if sick!

The Highland Lady Cougars go on the road and get a good win against a much improved Monroe City team 44-30!! Great job ladies!! The ladies move to 10-9 and 1-1 in the CCC!! GO COUGARS!!

Due to low numbers the JV GIRLS game scheduled for tonight at Monroe City has been cancelled. The JV BOYS will now tip off at 6pm in the Monroe City Middle School Gym. Varsity girls tip off at 6pm in the high school gym with varsity boys to follow. GO COUGARS!!
