Attention all cheer camp parents, we need you to fill out a digital permission form before practice on 9/4. The link to the form is below. Please have these filled out before 9/4 or you child will not be able to stay for practice on 9/4.
We will be taking buses to Macon, MO for their annual Build My Future event. This trip will be for all high schoolers, grades 9-12. A Google form was emailed to each student so they could mark if they were interested. If your student plans to attend, he/she will have to grab a permission slip to have signed and brought back to school prior to Friday September, 12th. This is a great opportunity to see what types of skilled trades are out there and maybe get a foot in the door for the future!

Today, our Junior High Social Studies students became detectives in our "Case Files" activity! 🕵️♀️ They worked through a series of clues about different teachers, using their detective skills to guess which teacher matched which set of clues. It was a fun way to practice analyzing evidence and drawing conclusions, all while getting to know their teachers better.

Mr. Scifres and Ms. Carmody got to join Mrs. Geisendorfer's 5th graders for her famous chocolate chip cookie lesson! This lesson uses different kinds of chocolate chip cookies to teach 5th graders about our standards-based scoring system which allows them to be better prepared to set goals for their own learning. We can't wait to see how much these students will grow this year!

Quincy University will be hosting a College 101 seminar. This is for all students grades 10-12, including their parents, that may be considering any college as a post-secondary pathway. QU will have information regarding all general college questions as well as this year's FAFSA. This DOES NOT mean you have to attend Quincy University! Contact Audra Regan (aregan@lewis.k12.mo.us) if you have questions in regards to these events!
