Highland defeats Louisiana 70-56 in semifinal action of the Monroe City Tournament. Highland will face either Monroe City or Palmyra for the championship of the oldest tournament in Missouri on Saturday at 6:30 in the high school gym. GO COUGARS!!

In boys second round action at the Monroe City Tournament Highland leads Louisiana 37-24!! GO COUGARS!!

The Lady Cougars fall 61-30 to a good South Shelby team at the Monroe City Tournament. Highland will play either Palmyra or Marion Co on Friday for 3rd place. Tip off will be at 6pm in the high school gym!! GO COUGARS!!

JH Lady Cougars with Christmas spirit today! 8th grade stay undefeated against South Shelby Monday night, and 7th grade win 21-1 in a 2 quarter game.

The Lady Cougars defeat Monroe City in opening round play of the Monroe City Tournament 52-31. They will face the winner of the South Shelby and Louisiana game on Wednesday at 6pm!! GO COUGARS!!

December Artists of the Month at HES! These students were not only responsible, respectful, and safe in the art room, but each day they came in the with a positive attitude and tried their best on what they were working on and that showed in their artwork. Great job guys!




Poinsettia Close Out! Thursday 12/9 at the HHS Greenhouse 4-6 p.m. All remaining poinsettia are $4. Several small plants - pink, white, red and winter rose!

Fun was had by all at Barnwarming Friday evening. Food, dancing and games with proceeds of the dance to sponsor Lewis County Special Olympics competitors.
