
HHS learned of a COVID-19 positive 7th grader today. Possible contact dates are 12/13 & 12/14 and the student does not ride a school bus. Please continue to monitor closely for signs and symptoms of COVID on a daily basis and stay/keep home if sick!


Fifth graders were challenged to build a parachute for Santa today.

Tomorrow, Wed. 12/15/21, is a FULL SCHOOL DAY at LCC-1. Both buildings will run full day schedules & dismiss at normal afternoon times.


Highland boys defeat a scrappy Scotland Co team in a hard fought game 73-63!! GO COUGARS!!

LCC1 was also made aware that there was a positive student present at the K-6 Cheer camp held this past Saturday at HES. Please continue to monitor students daily for symptoms and keep sick ones home!


HHS has learned of 3 recent COVID positives stemming from last week. An 11th grader who does not ride a bus had contact days of 12/6-12/8, an 8th grader on bus 20 am/pm who had the same contact dates, & a 7th grader w/contact dates of 12/6-12/9 (rode bus 16 in PM on 12/7-12/9).

JH Lady Cougars finish the season with wins over Hannibal on Saturday, and Canton on Friday. 8th grade team go undefeated at 15-0, and 7th grade team finish 12-1! Congrats ladies on a great season! #alwaysproudtobeacougar

Highland defeats Louisiana 70-56 in semifinal action of the Monroe City Tournament. Highland will face either Monroe City or Palmyra for the championship of the oldest tournament in Missouri on Saturday at 6:30 in the high school gym. GO COUGARS!!

In boys second round action at the Monroe City Tournament Highland leads Louisiana 37-24!! GO COUGARS!!

The Lady Cougars fall 61-30 to a good South Shelby team at the Monroe City Tournament. Highland will play either Palmyra or Marion Co on Friday for 3rd place. Tip off will be at 6pm in the high school gym!! GO COUGARS!!

JH Lady Cougars with Christmas spirit today! 8th grade stay undefeated against South Shelby Monday night, and 7th grade win 21-1 in a 2 quarter game.
