JH Lady Cougars win two basketball games at Macon Thursday night. 7th grade win 49-12, and 8th grade also with the victory 39-19.
HES had another staff member test positive for COVID today and there were numerous elementary kids sent home today with sickness/symptoms. Please monitor daily for signs/symptoms and if present keep/stay at home. We don’t need a stomach bug spreading on top of COVID concerns!

HES has another Kindergartener from Mrs. Jennings’s class who tested positive for COVID. Symptom onset was 11/2 with the student present 11/1 & 11/2, rode bus #22 in the AM both days, but only rode bus #8 in PM on 11/1. Please monitor for symptoms daily & keep/stay home if sick.

In September, three Drama Club seniors were cast in Quincy Community Theatre's upcoming production of Beauty and the Beast! As QCT announces their cast on their Facebook page, we would also like to celebrate those seniors individually!
Cheyenne VanMeter (Ensemble) is appearing in her second QCT show. Cheyenne has appeared in every Drama Club show since her freshman year and will soon be appearing as a soloist in our upcoming production of All Together Now! We can't wait to see Cheyenne on the QCT mainstage and watch her share her talents with an even bigger audience! Congratulations, Cheyenne! Break a leg!
