Elementary students K-6 grades were given Cheer Camp forms. Cheer Camp will be held at the Elementary on Saturday, 12/11. Performance will be at half time of the varsity girls basketball game on Friday, 12/17 (performance date has been changed from what was originally on the form). HES learned of another staff member and Kindergartener that have tested positive for COVID - The Kindergartener was from Mrs. Jennings class with signs/symptoms starting on 11/1, but the student was not present on 11/1 or 11/2 and thus there are no possible exposure days.

All of the JH basketball games scheduled for Friday Nov 5 against Knox Co have been postponed to December 3. Girls play at Highland and boys play at Knox Co. GO COUGARS!!

LCC1 did receive approval for an Emergency Connectivity Funds grant, which will provide those with the T-Mobile hotspots or with the Mark Twain School program FREE internet for this school year. Those paying a monthly charge will not need to do that going forward this year!

HHS learned today of a 9th grader who test positive for COVID with symptom onset date of 10/28 and exposure dates of 10/26 & 10/27 and rode Bus 22 in the AM & PM both days. Continue to monitor daily for signs/symptoms and keep/stay home if any are present.

HES informed today of a 3rd grader from Schmitz's class that is COVID positive. Symptom onset was 10/28 with exposure dates of 10/26, 10/27, & was present at the music program on 10/28. Student rides Bus #11 in the AM and Bus #15 in the PM. Please monitor for signs/symptoms!

Highland Elementary sixth graders will proudly present their annual Veterans Day music program on Thursday, November 4th at 6:30 p.m. in the HES gym. Sixth grade parents, please check the note sent home or your student's music Google Classroom for information about what time to arrive and what your student needs to wear.
