Recently, Mrs. Geisendorfer's class finished a simulation called Make an Ocean. The materials for this project were funded by the Missouri Retired Teachers Foundation. Students were able to hatch brine shrimp and monitor the effects that changes to their environment had on them.

All current planned parent meetings for spring sports are also postponed until further notice.

Highland HS Baseball Parent Meeting Will be Monday, 3/16 at 5:30 in the HS Commons.

On Tues. 3/17 following the HS basketball/cheerleading banquet there will be an organizational meeting for the annual girls and boys basketball fundraising golf tournament. This meeting is for parents of all boys and girls basketball players currently in 8th - 11th grade who plan on playing basketball in the 20-21 season. This meeting will be at approximately 8pm in the HS commons.

Due to the winter weather Saturday Detention is cancelled for today 3/14 at Highland.

The greenhouse is starting to fill. Plant sales are scheduled for May 1, 2, 8 & 9. We'll try to do a Friday update each week so you can see our progress.

Due to the cancellation of STEM Days at Culver-Stockton, all T-shirt money was returned to the students and should have been brought home today.

The Highland Cross Country Banquet (JH and HS) is scheduled for 7pm on Friday 3/20/20 in the HS commons area.

Highland WILL BE in school tomorrow, 3/13/20, as it is a snow makeup day. Also, Highland has no confirmed cases of Coronavirus in our district and we will communicate that out if something should change. For now, we are business as usual!
