The junior high softball game vs. Macon that was cancelled tomorrow has been replaced with Schuyler Co. So JH softball WILL play tomorrow 9/9 vs. Schuyler Co. Gold team at 5pm with Brown team to follow!! GO COUGARS!!
The JH softball games scheduled for 9/9 vs. Macon have been cancelled due to Macon Middle School transitioning to all virtual learning due to the Covid pandemic. Reschedule or a replacement game is pending!!

A new Federal Waiver should allow Highland to utilize the SFSP for FREE MEALS FOR ALL STUDENTS through December; however, there is an application which must be approved. LCC1 does not utilize the HS during summer school, so we are seeking assistance from the state. Update coming
REMINDER: Virtual Option Enrollment was extended, but ends Today (9/4) @ 3pm. The following agreement: https://bit.ly/350dMvU must be signed and turned in to the appropriate building for your child(ren). Remember, this is a semester long commitment & no activities.
Parents/Guardians: Highland Elementary had 4 staff members sent home today due to the possibility of close contacts with a person in a meeting who has tested positive for COVID. No students were exposed or sent home. The health department will determine if precautionary quarantines are necessary and for how long, just as they do for all students and staff. Again, please help everyone by staying home if you can’t pass the Daily Wellness Checklist.
