Parents/Guardians: due to a very recent development, Highland Schools will be closed for “in-person” learning tomorrow while the district works through contact tracing of additional students and staff who will need to be quarantined. Highland students will not attend tomorrow, but will still be able to interact with their teachers and be involved in distance learning. The length of time that Highland will remain in The Distance-Learning model will be determined in the next day or two. Please look to google classroom for assignments and communication from teachers. K-1 students/parents will receive more information tomorrow. As of now, Outside athletics/activities will continue as scheduled for those that are not quarantined. More communication will be provided tomorrow.

Big Wins tonight for the HJH Gold and Brown teams!

Parents/Guardians - HES had its first positive case of COVID reported to the school today. This has led to several precautionary quarantines based on both in school and out of school activities. Please remain vigilant in your efforts to social distance & wear a mask!

The Varsity Softball Tournament scheduled for Saturday 9/26 at Atlanta has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled!!

Parents/Guardians: The HS had another student test positive, which has led to the quarantine of 46 students and 6 staff members. Those impacted were contacted last night. We do have classes covered at this point to keep school open; however, we are out of subs and further quarantines could result in the High School moving to a temporary virtual mode for all students.
