There will be a Band Parent meeting on Monday 2/24/20 @ 6:30pm to discuss the upcoming school year. I am excited to share with you things that are set in place to happen next year for the Marching Highlanders.

-The Fundraising for the trip that is set to take place in --December of this Year.
-Students out of pocket cost
-Band Booster Club
-Fundraisers
-To meet the new Music Faculty member to take the place of Mrs. White (she is re-retiring)

Mrs. Scifres math classes are learning about integers this unit. Today they are creating their own board games incorporating what they’ve learned.
While in Mrs.Huchteman’s class 8th graders made individual serving size chocolate chip cookies to reinforce measurement skills.

Mrs. Bainter’s kindergarten class did a STEM activity today for math! Candy heart balancing!
Join the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at HES TOMORROW, Tuesday, February 18th (6:00 p.m.) for our PTO meeting. This KID FRIENDLY meeting will be held in the AV lab (next to the HES library). On Monday, Mrs. Jennings' Kinders celebrated their 100th Day of School! They did a lot of counting and learning activities with the number 100. Some even dressed like they were 100!😊
