HES Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to thank the parents and teachers who attended our Welcome Back meeting on Tuesday 9/17. Many great ideas were shared!! Our next meeting is October 15th at 6:00 p.m. in the HES AV lab (next to the library). We hope to see you then. Kids are welcome!!

Another win for the Lady Cougars! Lauren Merrell went 4 for 5 at the plate with 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and 3 runs scored. Gwyn Murphy earned the win giving up 3 hits and striking out 3.
The JV softball game tonight at Louisiana is cancelled due to low player numbers for the Lady Bulldogs. Varsity will start at 5pm and play 1 game. GO COUGARS!!
Reminder: Jostens will be at HHS tomorrow, 9/17 to take class ring orders. A time change has been made to accommodate Cross Country athletes: Jostens will be available to meet with CC students from 12:45-1:20 p.m. They will be available to all other students from 1:30-6:00 p.m.
