Power outages in the whole area. We are told that it will be up and running in about 30-45 minutes. Kids are safe and still getting lunch in shifts!
Our December Principal Prize Patrol winner is kindergartener Corinne Seals! We are so proud of how hard Corinne works every day to give her best and be responsible, respectful, and safe at school! Mr. Post, Mr. Scifres, and Mrs. Bainter surprised Corinne and her family tonight with a Johnnie’s pizza and soda. Great job, Corinne!
Congratulations to Highland senior Lauren Merrell on signing her National Letter of Intent to play softball at John Wood Community College. We are extremely proud of her and we are very excited for her and her family.

Highland boys fall to a very talented Payson Seymour basketball team 67-37. Justin Plant was the Cougars leading scorer with 9 points off three 3 pointers!
Our toy boxes need to be filled and our tree still has room for more items. Monday the 16th is the last day to donate toys, mittens, hats and scarves for families in Lewis County.
A huge thank to our PTO for purchasing Mrs. Schultz’s Kindergarten with their new Promise shirts. We wear them the first school day of each new month to renew our promise to give our best at school.
