The Varsity baseball game scheduled for today at Marion Co has been postponed until Wednesday 4/24/24. First pitch is at 5pm. GO COUGARS!!

The Highland Baseball Team will have Senior Night on Monday, 4/22. The Cougars will be honoring their 3 Seniors and their families between the Varsity and JV games. Highland will host Mark Twain with the first pitch scheduled for 5:00 pm.

Friday State FFA Convention Highlights-Congratulations to Macy Hamlin, Jackson Putnam and Denton Daggs, State FFA Degree recipients! PJ Sparks received State recognition for his Treasurers Book. Isabella and Michaela attended the Teacher Ag Workshop.




Highland High School and Junior High students attended Truman State University for the Teachers Matter Conference. They engaged in hands-on learning experiences and listened to the Missouri Teacher of the Year along with other professionals.





Third through eighth grade students will begin taking MAP (state required) tests on Monday, April 22nd. Please make sure they have charged Chromebooks and headphones or earbuds.

Mr. Arnsman and Mrs.Parrish took their Aviation students on a field trip to Lewis County Regional Airport! Thank you Garrett Gray, Alan Brinkley, and Jesse Rogers for showing us the airplanes!










FFA members have had a busy day at State Convention-Helped pack 670 boxes at the Central Missouri Food Bank, Delegates met, workshops attended, National Officer met and jump ropes were made for the Samaritan's Purse project

Nineteen Highland FBLA members attended the State Leadership Conference in Springfield April 14-16. Members attended leadership academies, community service sessions, and competed against students across the state. There were four students who placed in the top 10--Kennedy Post 6th in Computer Applications; Remington May 7th in Computer Applications; Lane Hinton, Remington May & Landon Meyer 10th in Digital Animation; Kennedy Post was also recognized for Advocate level of Business Achievement Awards and the chapter received Gold level Chapter of the Year.





Junior High Cheerleading Tryouts will be held at the HHS Gym on April 25th from 3:30 to 5:30. Incoming 8th grade students can sign up in the office and incoming 7th grade students can sign up with their teacher.
