In order to be compliant with the Missouri law known as the “Get the Lead out of School Drinking Water Act" on 12/29/23 LCC1 conducted sampling and
testing of all potential drinking water sources in the school. The results of the water
testing, including any corrective actions and retesting needed, will be posted in a public follow-up notice—typically 7-14 workdays after the water samples have been submitted to the lab.
Additional information and resources on the health effects of lead contamination are

Mrs. Johnston's 1st grade class and Mrs. Murphy's Fundamentals of Fashion and Interior Design class partnered up this quarter for a fun learning project. The 1st graders designed their own teddy bear, ornament, or elf. Mrs. Murphy's stuednts turned them into each student's very own "stuffie"! We took a trip to HHS to meet the class and receive our one-of-a-kind keepsakes! They were AMAZING and we were SO EXCITED! ❤️💚❤️ This is a wonderful project that all first graders will get to participate in. We can't wait to see what our friends make the next two quarters 😍.

"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!" We definitely spread some Christmas cheer at HES this morning at our annual Sing-Along! Thank you to Mrs. Sparks and the HHS Show Choir for coming to sing for us too!
