October Artists of the Month at HES! These students were responsible, respectful, and safe in the art room, and each day they came in the with a positive attitude and tried their best on what they were working on and that showed in their artwork. Keep up the great work!




Highland National Honor Society held its annual Induction Ceremony on Tuesday evening in the high school commons. Officers were installed and new members were inducted.


Highland schools will be closed Monday (10/23/23) to allow district employees to attend the celebration of life services for Sarah Degarmo. Classes will resume on Tuesday, but remember Friday (10/27/23) is also a scheduled day off with parent-teacher conferences on Wed. and Thur.


Our Finding Nemo cast had the incredible honor of attending the first student preview show of Quincy Community Theatre’s The Hobbit Tuesday morning! What an incredible show! The cast and crew were phenomenal and we loved seeing 8th grader Quinton Miller on stage!

Today, Highland senior Emma Harshberger, scored her 100th career run, and broke the school single season RBI record of 41, previously held by Becca Scott. The Lady Cougars will be back in action to play Bowling Green for the district title on Mon night at 5:30PM at South Shelby.
