Mrs. Seals 1st grade class and Mrs. Murphy's Fundamentals of Fashion and Interior Design class partnered up this quarter for a fun learning project. The 1st graders drew and wrote about their monster and Mrs. Murphy's class sewed them into each student's very own stuffed monster! The amount of detail put into the monsters was amazing! 1st grade took a trip to the HS on Thursday to receive their monster and deliver their thank you note. They were thrilled!

Happy Birthday to Catherine Darnell from the Highland Softball Family!

Mrs. Jennings' Kindergarten Class has been learning about the pumpkin life cycle. Today they did an investigation of the inside of a pumpkin which included charting observations and counting seeds.

The cast of Finding Nemo traveled to St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station on Tuesday to meet some of the characters they are playing on stage! We found Dory and Nemo, saw some ferocious sharks, and got to pet stingrays and jellyfish! This was such a cool way to bring the science of Finding Nemo to life!
